Canonical Gymnasium Physics Topic Workboard

Snapshot: 2026-04-20

Purpose:

  • steer canonical Gymnasium Physics by topic first
  • use Bundeslaender as evidence and validation lanes, not as the pedagogical design driver
  • make open nationwide topic debt explicit before more state-local rollout entropy accumulates

Scope rule for now:

  1. the active cross-state Physics surface is still mainly Sek II
  2. the board therefore starts with the four upper-secondary topic rows that already have real multi-state evidence
  3. Sek-I Physics rows should be added once more non-Hessen lower-secondary source lanes become real
  4. the active source-onboarding tranche nevertheless covers Sek I and Sek II source acquisition together

Working rule:

  1. the previously missing-state Physics source archive tranche is now complete for both Sek I and Sek II where applicable
  2. the source-snapshot and provenance activation tranche for those newly archived states is now also complete
  3. the first conservative structural-anchor pass (P3) across those new source-backed states is now complete
  4. the next active tranche is the first renewed horizontal reviewed Physics topic-row pass across all retained states
  5. then review the current canonical atom inventory for that row
  6. compare the row against all retained Bundesland sources
  7. classify each state cell
  8. add canonical atoms only where multiple states or strong pedagogical structure justify them
  9. only then widen or refine the state mappings for that topic

Coverage rule:

  1. every active Physics topic row runs in all states required mode
  2. with the newly archived-state structural-anchor tranche now complete, the active work item is the renewed horizontal all-state topic-row pass, not another state-local structural activation
  3. a topic row is operationally closed only when every retained Bundesland source column is resolved once
  4. seed, anchor, corr, gap, and loc count as resolved cells; only n/s means the row is still unchecked for that state

Legend:

  • seed: canonical topic already materially seeded from the Hessen reference lane
  • anchor: only broad structural or area-level alignment exists
  • corr: at least one reviewed corridor is already mapped for this topic
  • gap: current reviewed source evidence suggests a canonical gap or unresolved atomic split
  • n/s: not started
  • loc: state-local packaging; do not automatically canonicalize

State columns use Bundesland abbreviations:

  • BW BY BE BB HB HH HE MV NI NW RP SL SN ST SH TH

Current recommendation

Current focus:

  1. keep Sek II Mechanik / Dynamik stable after the first renewed all-state audit
  2. keep Sek II Elektrizitaet / Magnetismus / Induktion stable after the renewed all-state audit
  3. keep Sek II Schwingungen / Wellen stable after the renewed all-state audit
  4. keep Sek II Quanten / Atom / Kernphysik stable after the renewed all-state audit
  5. keep Sek I Elektrizitaet / Magnetismus stable after the first renewed lower-secondary all-state audit
  6. keep Sek I Mechanik / Bewegung stable after the renewed lower-secondary all-state audit
  7. keep Sek I Optik / Licht / Schall stable after the renewed lower-secondary all-state audit
  8. keep Sek I Waerme / Thermik / Teilchenmodell stable after the renewed lower-secondary all-state audit
  9. keep Sek I Radioaktivitaet / Kernphysik stable after the renewed lower-secondary all-state audit
  10. keep Sek I Stoffe / Dichte / Druck / Auftrieb stable after the renewed lower-secondary all-state audit
  11. keep Sek I Energie / Arbeit / Leistung / Erhaltung stable after the renewed lower-secondary all-state audit
  12. keep Sek I Klima / Energieversorgung / Umwelturteil stable after the renewed lower-secondary all-state audit
  13. treat the first renewed lower-secondary row tranche as horizontally audited once at the current reviewed cut
  14. keep additional lower-secondary row admission frozen at the current reviewed cut
  15. treat the first post-tranche lower-secondary candidate sweep as complete
  16. do not reopen lower-secondary row admission on the current evidence floor unless new source-backed evidence appears
  17. treat the current F5 horizontal reentry tranche itself as complete at the current reviewed cut
  18. move Physics explicitly into maintenance / evidence-watch mode until a new source-backed trigger appears

Active coordination artifact:

  1. docs/dev/canonical-gymnasium-physics-topic-workboard.md

Why:

  • Physics now has enough reviewed multi-state evidence that another single-state widening would only deepen source asymmetry
  • Berlin and Brandenburg still close the retained BE/BB 3.2.1 -> 3.2.2 cut without forcing another canonical atom, and only the remaining Eintrittswinkel clause stays explicitly frozen as source-led residue
  • Schleswig-Holstein no longer needs another reflex widening on the same retained source family; the next clean move is now a new state/source family outside the frozen SH and BE/BB residues
  • the missing nationwide Physics debt is no longer source acquisition itself, no longer snapshot activation itself, no longer the first conservative structural-anchor floor for the newly activated state bundles, and no longer the initial upper-secondary four-row pass; all of that is now complete
  • the correct next move is therefore no longer another preselected row on reflex, and that row-admission decision is now resolved conservatively: the retained lower-secondary evidence does not yet justify one more nationwide row beyond this first audited tranche
  • the three strongest visible post-tranche lower-secondary candidates have now also been checked explicitly and none clears the admission bar on the current evidence floor
  • the current horizontal all-state reentry tranche is therefore operationally closed at the current reviewed cut until new source-backed evidence appears
  • the operational consequence is now explicit maintenance / evidence-watch mode, not another hidden active rollout on the same evidence floor

Current blocker note:

  1. the archive tranche is complete, the snapshot/provenance tranche is complete, and the first conservative statewide structural-anchor floor is now also complete
  2. the first renewed lower-secondary row tranche is now also complete at the current reviewed cut
  3. no retained state currently needs another opportunistic widening, and no additional lower-secondary row is admitted yet
  4. the active blocker is now the lack of a sufficiently Hessen-seeded and multi-state-supported next lower-secondary row candidate beyond the first audited tranche
  5. the strongest currently visible next candidate Sek I Kosmos / Erde / Mensch / Astronomie still fails the admission bar: Sachsen carries one clear retained K10 astronomy anchor, Hamburg only one local side clause on solar energy, Bayern's strongest astronomy evidence in the retained bundle is upper-secondary Ph13 Astrophysik, and Hessen currently contributes no lower-secondary seed strip for that row
  6. the second visible next candidate Sek I Elektronik / Halbleiter / elektromagnetische Wellen also still fails the admission bar: Sachsen carries the clearest retained lower-secondary evidence through K9 Grundlagen der Elektronik and K10 Hertz'sche Wellen, Saarland and Sachsen-Anhalt contribute only mixed side packaging on Halbleiter or semiconductors inside broader electricity strips, and Hessen currently contributes no lower-secondary seed strip for that row
  7. the third visible next candidate Sek I Licht / Materie / Atommodell / Strahlung is also not row-worthy yet, but for a different reason: Hessen does carry a lower-secondary seed on Bausteine des Atoms and Radioaktive Strahlung, and Hamburg carries the mixed strip Licht und Materie, yet this evidence is already materially absorbed by the audited rows Sek I Optik / Licht / Schall and Sek I Radioaktivitaet / Kernphysik rather than forcing a distinct new nationwide row
  8. the first post-tranche lower-secondary candidate sweep is therefore complete; another candidate pass on the same retained evidence floor would currently be redundant

Current reopen triggers:

  1. admit a new lower-secondary nationwide row only if a Hessen-seeded strip appears that is also supported by at least one additional retained state lane and is not already materially absorbed by an audited row
  2. reopen Sek I Kosmos / Erde / Mensch / Astronomie only if Hessen gains an explicit lower-secondary astronomy / cosmos strip or another currently non-Sachsen lane gains a comparably broad retained lower-secondary astronomy anchor
  3. reopen Sek I Elektronik / Halbleiter / elektromagnetische Wellen only if Hessen gains an explicit lower-secondary electronics / semiconductors / electromagnetic-waves strip or a second non-Sachsen lane moves from mixed side packaging to a clear retained row
  4. reopen Sek I Licht / Materie / Atommodell / Strahlung only if new retained evidence forces a distinct canonical gap beyond the already audited rows Sek I Optik / Licht / Schall and Sek I Radioaktivitaet / Kernphysik
  5. reopen any upper-secondary state lane only if a later source revision or another Bundesland's retained source family creates a genuinely shared Physics gap that is not already covered by the stable reviewed cuts

Current watch targets:

  1. watch Hessen Sek I first: any future lower-secondary source revision that adds a visible strip on astronomy / cosmos, electronics / semiconductors / electromagnetic waves, or a distinct light-matter / atom-model / radiation band is the strongest direct reopen trigger
  2. watch Sachsen Sek I as the strongest non-Hessen evidence floor for Kosmos and Elektronik: K10 Lernbereich 2 Kosmos, Erde und Mensch, K9 Lernbereich 1 Grundlagen der Elektronik, and K10 Lernbereich 4 Hertz'sche Wellen
  3. watch Hamburg Sek I for possible strengthening of the current side clauses Energieerzeugung in der Sonne and Licht und Materie
  4. watch Saarland and Sachsen-Anhalt Sek I for a possible shift from mixed side packaging on Halbleiter / semiconductors into a clearly retained standalone row
  5. watch reviewed upper-secondary maintenance lanes only for true scope changes: no open residue lane remains, so reopen only if a later source revision creates a genuinely shared canonical gap

Definition of done for one Physics topic row:

  1. the canonical atom inventory for that row is reviewed and, where needed, tightened
  2. reviewed state evidence no longer forces obvious new shared Physics atoms
  3. every currently available retained-source state cell in that row is resolved once; remaining n/s cells are only missing-source placeholders
  4. state mappings for the resolved states are consistent with the revised canonical cuts
  5. state-local leftovers are explicitly marked as loc or left out of the canonical core
